The Train-the-Trainer programme builds a pool of capable union educators by equipping participants with facilitation skills, popular education methods and practical tools. The course strengthens the ability of unions to design, deliver and evaluate their own worker education programmes sustainably.
This module introduces participants to the historical development, theories and traditions of trade unions within working-class struggles. It lays the political and ideological foundation for understanding trade union organisation, solidarity and the broader labour movement.
Block Two deepens administrative capacity by strengthening communication, coordination and organisational systems within unions. It reinforces the administrator’s role in supporting leadership, ensuring effective member service and contributing to organisational efficiency.

This module focuses on building and strengthening trade union structures, recruitment strategies and organisational systems. It equips participants with knowledge and tools to enhance union effectiveness and membership participation.
This phase develops facilitation and curriculum design skills, enabling educators to independently deliver impactful worker education programmes within their provinces.
The PEP supports trained educators to implement peer-led education within unions and communities. It promotes mentorship, knowledge sharing and the cascading of skills to strengthen grassroots structures.
Provincial Schools provide structured education programmes based on the outcomes of the Needs Analysis. They focus on building core trade union knowledge, political understanding and organisational skills while strengthening solidarity and collective learning.
This short course equips trade unionists with practical skills to represent workers effectively in arbitration processes. It strengthens understanding of dispute resolution under the Labour Relations Act and builds confidence in case preparation and presentation.
